چکیده

Seefeldt`s classic motor development pyramid model recognizes the significance of fundamental movement skills (FMS) in physical activities and proposes a “proficiency barrier” between FMS higher-level specific sports during middle childhood. However, relationship layers conceptual has not been empirically tested. This study investigated fitness (MF), FMS, quality patterns (QMP) 7–10 years old children evaluated relationships among them. A total 117 were randomly selected to take tests MF, Test Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2), Functional Movement Screen (FMS ™ ). MF levels classified according percentile ranges. Two multiple (R×C) Chi-Square applied analyze QMP. Post-hoc testing estimated possibility QMP predict MF. The results showed that boys scored significantly higher on object-control subtest TGMD-2 compared girls (p<0.001), while ( p = 0.001). score level weakly correlated with (FMS: χ 2 14.605, 0.006, Cramer`s V 0.25; QMP: 13.943, 0.007, 0.24). Thus, 60.5% “excellent” 59.6% “high” categorized as having “good” In contrast, only 23.1% “poor” 24.3% “low” Our confirm are each other, although this is weak. Further, possible skill proficiency barrier exists already old. support promotion activity primary school children.
